Social Responsibility
Meranti Pharmacy and the Women's Network for the Police Academy in Chatsworth, held a presentation at the Aryan Benevolent Home in Arena Park, to welcome the 16 Days of Activism campaign. The initiative is part of a social awareness project and it signifies a time to give back to society. The joint venture highlighted issues such as abuse and violence toward women and children. Gifts were handed out to the children of the ABH, who were also entertained with a fascinating dog show. Canines were brought in from as far as Pretoria to display their skill and vigilance. Ten children were also part of the intensely co-ordinated ceremony. (courtesy looklocal.co.za)
